Regarding read receipts, we offer a "Read by" feature that allows you to see who has and hasn’t read your messages. Additionally, we have avatars that indicate whether a person has read your messages.
From the mobile app:
Long press on the message and select "Read by"
You can also send out reminder notifications to anyone who has not read the message yet
From the desktop:
Click on the three dots icon next to the message, and select "Read by"
