Any employee you want to add to your Organization in Breakroom Chat must be invited to join the app. It’s easy to invite new coworkers to join, and you can do it in several different ways.
Head to your Team tab and tap the option you'd like to use at the top of the page
Your team member will receive a text message instructing them to download the Breakroom Chat App. Clicking on this link directs them to the app store, where they can proceed to download and launch the app. Upon verifying their phone number, they will be seamlessly added to your Organization. It's advisable to inform the new team member that you've extended an invitation to Breakroom Chat so they'll know to look out for it.
Team members will be identified in Breakroom Chat by the exact name they were listed under in your address book, though this name can be changed later on. (See How to Change Your Profile Name.)
Once the person has joined, each employee in the Organization will receive an “Everyone” message to let them know someone new has joined the team.
If the some or all of the options for adding coworkers don’t show up in your Breakroom Chat App, it may be because the account admin has designated adding team members as a Manager-only function.
Managers can choose to allow only Managers to add people to the Organization.
